AXS PDF is operated by AXS LEARNING SRL, a company registered in Romania (EU), CUI 52330648, with its registered office in Moara Vlăsiei, Ilfov County. We are the data controller for personal data processed through axspdf.com. Contact: office@axslearning.ro.

Most of our tools (merge, split, compress, rotate, convert, image tools, background removal and more) run entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers.

A small number of tools available through our developer API are processed on a server. In that case files are handled only to perform the requested operation, are not shared, and are deleted shortly after processing. We never read, index, sell or use the contents of your files for any other purpose.

• Account data — if you sign up: your email address and authentication identifiers (via Firebase Authentication).
• Processing history — only if you opt in: metadata about files you process (tool used, file name, size, timestamp). Never the files.
• API keys — if you create them, stored in hashed form.
• Usage & device data — basic analytics, IP address, browser type, and similar technical data.
• Advertising & cookies data — where you consent, data used to serve and measure ads.
• Billing data — if you subscribe, handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card details.

• To provide the service and your account — performance of a contract.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — legitimate interests.
• To show ads and analytics — your consent.
• To handle payments and comply with tax law — legal obligation.

We use trusted providers acting as our processors, including:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — hosting, authentication and database (EU region).
• Google AdSense — advertising on free tools (only with consent).
• A payment processor — for subscriptions (added when billing goes live).

We do not sell your personal data.

Our infrastructure is hosted in the EU. Where a provider transfers data outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep account and history data while your account is active, and delete or anonymise it on request or after a reasonable period of inactivity. Server-processed files are deleted shortly after processing. Billing records are kept as required by law.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access, rectify or erase your data;
• restrict or object to processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDC, dataprotection.ro) or your local authority.
