PowerPoint to PDF

Turn PowerPoint presentations (PPTX, PPT, ODP) into a PDF with one slide per page, ready to share or print.

Converted on our EU server and deleted right after — never stored or shared.

Presentations rarely survive the trip to someone else's computer intact: a missing font changes every title, animations get in the way, and the file is too large to email. A PDF keeps each slide exactly as designed, one slide per page, so it opens instantly on any phone or laptop and prints cleanly as handouts.

How to powerpoint to pdf

  1. 1. Upload your presentation (.pptx, .ppt or .odp).
  2. 2. Every slide is converted to a PDF page with its layout, images and fonts.
  3. 3. Download the PDF to share, print or upload.

When to use PowerPoint to PDF

Send slides after a meeting or class

Attendees get a light PDF they can read and annotate, without needing PowerPoint or worrying about fonts.

Submit a project or thesis presentation

Universities and conference portals usually accept PDF. Convert your final deck so it looks the same for the committee.

Print handouts

A PDF prints predictably on any printer, slide after slide, with nothing cut off at the edges.

Animations, videos and speaker notes

A PDF is a static document, so each slide is captured in its final state: animated items all appear, transitions are dropped, and embedded videos show their first frame. Speaker notes are not included. If a slide depends on an animation to make sense, consider splitting it into two slides before converting.

Keeping your fonts

Fonts embedded in the presentation are used as they are. Common Microsoft fonts such as Calibri, Cambria, Arial and Times New Roman are replaced by metrically identical equivalents, so line breaks and text boxes stay the same size. For an unusual brand font, embed it in PowerPoint (File → Options → Save → Embed fonts) before converting.

Frequently asked questions

Which formats can I convert?

PowerPoint .pptx, the older .ppt, slide shows (.ppsx, .pps) and OpenDocument presentations (.odp).

Will the PDF have one slide per page?

Yes — each slide becomes one page in the same order, at the slide's own size (16:9 or 4:3).

Are speaker notes included?

No, only the slides themselves. Copy the notes into the slides or export them separately from PowerPoint if you need them.

Is my presentation uploaded to a server?

Yes — Office conversions need a full office engine to keep your layout, so the file is sent over an encrypted connection to our conversion server in the EU. It is processed in a temporary folder that is deleted before the result is sent back; nothing is stored, logged or shared. All our other PDF tools run entirely in your browser.

Your files are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded — read more on the security page. Looking for more? Browse our full set of PDF tools or read guides on the blog.
