Excel to PDF

Convert Excel spreadsheets (XLSX, XLS, ODS, CSV) to PDF with tables, colours and formulas results intact.

Converted on our EU server and deleted right after — never stored or shared.

A spreadsheet is built for working, not for sharing: open it on another computer and columns spill onto extra pages, formulas show the wrong locale, or someone edits a cell by accident. Converting it to PDF freezes exactly what the numbers say today, with your column widths, colours and borders, so the person reading it sees the same table you do.

How to excel to pdf

  1. 1. Upload your Excel file (.xlsx, .xls, .ods or .csv).
  2. 2. Each worksheet is laid out on pages using its own print settings, with formulas already calculated.
  3. 3. Download the PDF and share or print it.

When to use Excel to PDF

Send a price list or quote

Clients get a clean table they can read on a phone, without your formulas, hidden columns or the risk of them changing a price.

Hand in a timetable or grade sheet

Schools and offices often ask for PDF. Convert the sheet you already have instead of rebuilding it in a document.

Archive a monthly report

A PDF snapshot of the figures at the end of the month won't change when the source workbook is updated later.

Getting a spreadsheet to fit the page

How a sheet splits into pages comes from its print settings, the same as when you press Print in Excel. If a wide table runs onto a second page, open the file, set the page to landscape or choose "Fit all columns on one page" under Page Layout, save, and convert again. Very large sheets are easier to read if you set a print area around the part that matters.

What happens to formulas and charts

The PDF shows the results of your formulas, not the formulas themselves, which is usually what a reader wants. Charts, cell colours, borders, merged cells and number formats are kept. Each worksheet becomes its own set of pages, in the order the tabs appear.

Frequently asked questions

Which spreadsheet formats can I convert?

Excel .xlsx and the older .xls, LibreOffice/OpenOffice .ods, and plain .csv files.

My table is split across several pages. How do I fix it?

Change the sheet's print settings before converting: landscape orientation, "Fit to page width", or a print area around the cells you need. The converter follows the same settings Excel uses when printing.

Are all worksheets included?

Yes — every visible worksheet is converted, one after another, in tab order. Hide a sheet in Excel if you don't want it in the PDF.

Is my spreadsheet uploaded to a server?

Yes — Office conversions need a full office engine to keep your layout, so the file is sent over an encrypted connection to our conversion server in the EU. It is processed in a temporary folder that is deleted before the result is sent back; nothing is stored, logged or shared. All our other PDF tools run entirely in your browser.
